Glenn H. Curtiss Museum
Step back in time and explore the rich history of aviation and transportation at the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum, a must-visit attraction in New York’s beautiful Finger Lakes region. Booking your tickets online in advance ensures a smooth, flexible visit without the hassle of waiting in line, so you can maximize your sightseeing time. With both paper and mobile ticket options available, visiting the museum has never been easier.

The museum celebrates the incredible achievements of Glenn Curtiss, the pioneer often referred to as the "Father of Aviation." Curtiss began his career building bicycles, eventually moving on to motorcycles. In 1907, he made history by becoming the “fastest man on earth,” reaching 136.4 MPH on his V8-powered motorcycle, a stunning reproduction of which you can view at the museum. But Curtiss wasn’t finished making headlines; on July 4, 1908, he piloted his “June Bug” flying machine over 5,000 feet, earning him pilot’s license #1 and the prestigious Scientific American Trophy. A full-sized reproduction of the June Bug, along with many other historic aircraft, is on display for visitors to enjoy.

In addition to motorcycles and aircraft, the museum boasts an incredible collection of vintage cars, boats, bicycles, toys, tools, and more. Families will love seeing volunteers at work restoring priceless pieces of history. And because the museum is entirely indoors, it’s a perfect activity in any weather.

The Glenn H. Curtiss Museum is open daily from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Dec 10, 2025 - Apr 30, 2026). Whether you’re an aviation enthusiast, a history buff, or just looking for a unique Finger Lakes activity, the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum offers a one-of-a-kind experience for all ages.
